Wolf Chevrolet of Imperial Helps Make Callaway Corvette Dream A Reality
Wolf Chevrolet of Imperial has a long history as a specialty Corvette dealer, especially when it comes to working with Callaway cars to create some of the fastest Corvettes on the road. But it's not every day that Dillon Harchelroad facilitates the process of building one of the best new Corvettes on the road today.
The January 2017 issue of Corvette magazine features a story on Vince Gilbert, an entrepreneur from Oregon who loves sports cars, but wasn't considering a Corvette until he found out about the new Z06 Callaway SC757 version on a flight to Hawaii. As one of the largest-volume Callaway dealers in the country, Gilbert turned to Corvette specialist Dillon Harchelroad of Wolf Chevrolet of Imperial to facilitate the design, building, modification and delivery of his new Corvette to one of his homes in Palm Desert, California.
Price was no object, but the time frame was seriously limited. Gilbert wanted the new Corvette to be delivered for a specific event, meaning that Harchelroad had to work under a very tight timeline to deliver the vehicle on time.
Harchelroad used their years of Corvette experience and knowledge to steer Gilbert towards package recommendations, design ideas and specific modifications that would fit his vision of the "ultimate Corvette." Appearance choices like seat finishes, interior stitching color, wheel finishes and detailing were just the beginning. Once the Corvette rolled off the assembly line, Callaway cars "bent over backwards to make sure it was done on time," according to Harchelroad, and delivered the 757-horsepower sports car to Gilbert a day early.
During the four-month process, Dillon Harchelroad was in constant communication with all involved parties to help make his customer's dream Corvette a reality. Corvette enthusiasts from across the country know they can depend on Wolf Chevrolet of Imperial to help make their vision of their perfect Corvette a reality.
